"Hi, I'm Greg!"

Nice to finally meet! I am a lover of music, art, comedy, movies, traveling, and all things creative. I have been an artist since I could hold a pencil, and drawing for me is as therapeutic as it is liberating. Printmaking and fine art is a strong passion of mine and has greatly benefited towards my drawing and illustration in recent years. Being a musician as well, I enjoy mixing and experimenting to come up with new sounds that mirror the visual art I create. Artist statement from my 2012 BFA Exhibition

This body of work, ranging from printmaking to sculpture, creates dreamlike scenes that mirror the unconventionality of the world. I am drawn to ghosts and spirits because of their inexplicability and mysteriousness. The meticulous process of etching, an intaglio printmaking technique, enables me to create highly detailed and yet ethereal environments to house these spectral beings, to anchor them to something more substantive. However, rather than seek answers to these events, my work proposes that comfort may be found in the unexplainable and the abnormal occurrences of the world.
